applying chemical liquid, on the plaster mold, the brushed part on the mold may peel and naturally got defectives, which can be interesting patterns.

apply non plaster paint on the mold, the slip wont stick to these area later on, the "hole's could be interesting patterns.

put slip on the negative part of the ungreased plaster mold, the slip may shrink the mold, making it peeled.
